Right to Life and Dignity

Kenya has over 3.6 million persons with intellectual disabilities. This high number has come about due to two main factors – poverty and very poor maternal services. KSMH advocates continually for reduction of poverty and improvement of maternal services. In times of drought, the Society has appealed for food for its members. The donors have always responded to this call and Hindu Council of Kenya has helped in this area regularly since the drought conditions come at regular intervals.
